TLS Traffic light systems

In the field of traffic light systems dresden elektronik verkehrstechnik gmbh supplies the new generation, deTRA 3000. A modular system which can be utilized in a number of ways is provided using a control unit and signal head switches. Combinations of portable and stationary systems are possible and can be set up in a centralized, decentralized or in a hybrid form. Control using a CAN bus is also a part of the modular concept. This minimizes cabling complexity and cost. Complex and extensive junctions (up to 3 partitions possible) can be served using the control unit. The control unit can be installed in a portable control cabinet (class D) as well as in stationary technology. The system of course comprises standardized interfaces and control processes (OCIT^®). Using comprehensive software, tools for programming, simulation and start-up of the system and its components are provided.

Modular display matrix for information systems

In the area of traffic information systems, dresden elektronik offers LED display modules for indoor and outdoor use. In this way passenger information systems such as information boards at train stations, bus and tram stops, at park and ride lots and on access roads can be realized.

Controls for dynamic signposting

dresden elektronik offers a modular system for operating prism displays for controlling the traffic flow by means of dynamic signposting. The modular realization makes it possible to equip a location with one or even 100 prism groups, and these can be located up to 500 meters away from the control station. In order to keep installation costs down even at these distances, the communication between the sign and the control station is performed using a CAN bus. Every control station guarantees constant monitoring of all connected prism groups, automatic error recognition as well as diagnosis and log functions. It is connected to the host computer by Ethernet.
